McKenna Davis LMHC, NCC

Counselor
Narrative of Services:

Over 90 percent of my caseload focuses on OCD, and I have treated hundreds of individuals, with a specialization in children and adolescents. I work with a wide range of OCD subtypes, including contamination, harm, scrupulosity, taboo thoughts, symmetry, and more. I also treat related concerns such as emetophobia, misophonia, health anxiety, and generalized anxiety. Services are provided virtually throughout Florida using evidence-based approaches, primarily Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat co-occurring disorders commonly seen alongside OCD and anxiety, including ADHD, depression, autism spectrum disorder, and specific phobias such as emetophobia and misophonia. My treatment structure is rooted in CBT and ERP, with individualized plans incorporating parent involvement and school collaboration when needed. Interventions are tailored to developmental level and functional goals, with a strong emphasis on skill-building and exposure-based strategies.

Training Description:

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over seven years of experience treating OCD and related disorders, specializing in children and adolescents. My training includes advanced clinical work at a nationally recognized OCD treatment center, with a focus on ERP and CBT. I have completed specialized ERP trainings, participate in ongoing case consultation, and pursue continuing education through organizations such as the IOCDF and ADAA to ensure gold-standard, evidence-based care.

I work with clients from various racial, ethnic, religious, and neurodivergent identities, and I prioritize creating a space that is inclusive, affirming, and responsive to each client’s lived experience. I integrate cultural context into treatment planning and am committed to ongoing learning to best support the unique needs of multicultural populations.

I am committed to providing culturally responsive care and have received training in working with diverse populations across race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, and neurodiversity.
