Narrative of Services:
My practice offers Exposure and Prevention (ERP) Therapy for OCD. When appropriate, I bring in additional therapeutic approaches, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for increasing psychological flexibility or Motivational Interviewing to build client motivation. I typically deliver ERP treatment in once-weekly 50-minute sessions, but options for more intensive formats (e.g., 90-minute sessions or multiple sessions per week) are available when warranted. I also offer Habit Reversal Training for the treatment of body focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking). I am not in network for any insurance providers, but many clients receive reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
My experience working with clients with OCD began during my graduate school training. It then continued during my postdoctoral fellowship, and I now treat OCD as a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice. I completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at a private practice in Manhattan that specialized in the treatment of OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders with ERP. During this fellowship, I received intensive training in ERP, CBT, and ACT from experts in the field of OCD. I also have experience working with body focused repetitive behaviors (hair pulling, skin picking) using Habit Reversal Training.
