Dr. Dexter’s private practice specializes in treating OCD, anxiety, and mood disorders. We provide individual treatments for a range of disorders including: Panic Disorder, Specific Phobias, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Social Anxiety, Performance Anxiety, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Depression and Insomnia. Therapists utilize evidence-based methods, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy, Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

Dr. Dexter began treating individuals with OCD in 2015. She has completed training in Exposure and Response Prevention and received supervision and consultation on best-practices on the treatment of OCD from faculty members of the University of Southern California, the University of California, Los Angeles, and the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Dexter is engaged in ongoing consultation to complete an Exposure and Response Prevention certification program through Cognitive Behavior Institute. Dr. Dexter currently treats individuals with OCD in both university settings and her private practice.
