Dr. Dufford does Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for OCD, BDD, Trichotillomania, PTSD, Phobias, Panic Disorder, Agoraphobia, Generalized Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Grief/Loss, relationships, and Depression. Dr. Dufford received his PhD in Psychology from Sierra University, his MA from Cornell University, and his BS from Rutgers University. He is a professional member of the California Psychological Association, the Anxiety Disorders Association of America, the International OCD Foundation, and the International EMDR Association. He is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, and Certified Doctoral Addictions Counselor.
Dr. Dufford has treated OCD and related disorders since 1991. He received specialized training in the treatment of Anxiety Disorders while completing a two year Clinical Psychology Internship. Since then, Dr. Dufford has done extensive continuing education for OCD and Anxiety Disorders treatment including behavioral therapy (Exposure and Response Prevention).
