Onward Healing Therapy is a fully telehealth, private-pay practice serving adults across Pennsylvania, Florida, and Vermont. Approximately 90% of my caseload involves OCD and related disorders, including OCD subtypes (harm, contamination, Pure O, postpartum), body dysmorphic disorder, anxiety disorders and phobias as well as tic disorders and tourette syndrome. I use ERP as the primary treatment modality, integrated with CBIT for tic-related presentations and CBT/mindfulness as adjunct approaches. To date I have treated over 50 individuals with OCD and related disorders. I offer a free 15-minute consultation and maintain a small caseload to ensure individualized, intensive care.
For clients with co-occurring anxiety disorders and OCD, I use an integrated ERP approach targeting overlapping fear structures, with CBT skills layered in for anxiety symptoms that don’t respond to ERP alone.
For co-occurring tic disorders, I integrate CBIT alongside ERP — conducting separate functional assessments for tic-related premonitory urges versus OCD-driven urges, as these require distinct interventions. Habit reversal training and competing response practice run in parallel with ERP, within the same treatment frame to minimize client burden.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a PhD in Psychology and concentration in Social Psychology. Doctoral dissertation research focused on the effects of trauma on OCD symptom presentation. Completed clinical training at Rogers Behavioral Health, a nationally-recognized OCD specialty program and IOCDF-listed clinic, with intensive exposure to ERP across OCD subtypes and related disorders. Additional training in CBIT for tic disorders. Five years of clinical experience specializing in OCD and related disorders including body dysmorphic disorder and co-occurring anxiety disorders. Committed to ongoing education in evidence-based treatment through continuing professional development.
Completed continuing education units (CEUs) in cultural competency as required for LCSW licensure maintenance, with training covering culturally responsive clinical practice, working with diverse populations, and addressing systemic barriers to mental health care. Coursework has addressed the intersection of cultural identity, trauma, and OCD symptom presentation — an area of particular relevance given my doctoral research on trauma and OCD. Committed to ongoing education in affirming, equitable care for clients across racial, ethnic, gender, and socioeconomic backgrounds, with attention to how cultural context shapes the experience and expression of OCD and related disorders.
