Narrative of Services:
My practice specializes nearly exclusively in OCD and related disorders (98%). Over the past 20+ years, I have treated hundreds of children, adolescents, and adults with OCD, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs), tic disorders, and hoarding disorder. Services include comprehensive assessment, exposure and response prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training (HRT)/ComB, family-based interventions, and interdisciplinary coordination when appropriate. Treatment is individualized, measurement-based, and grounded in evidence-based protocols. I also provide consultation, professional training, and clinical supervision to support broader community capacity in OCD-R care.
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I treat co-occurring disorders, including depression, tic disorders, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) such as trichotillomania and skin picking. My approach is structured, collaborative, and evidence-based, integrating ERP, HRT/ComB, and CBT, with coordination across providers when appropriate. I have advanced training in BFRBs through the Professional Training Institute of the TLC Foundation for BFRBs and in tic disorders through the Tourette Association of America. Treatment plans are individualized, measurement-based, and focused on building flexibility, resilience, and meaningful daily functioning.
Training Description:
I am a clinical social worker in private practice specializing exclusively in OCD and related disorders (OCD-R) for over 20 years. I have advanced training in Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive and Dialectical Behavior Therapies, and am a graduate of the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) through the International OCD Foundation and the Professional Training Institute of the TLC Foundation for BFRBs. I am Past President of OCD Midwest and serve on the steering committee of the Summit County Hoarding Task Force. I provide multiple OCD-R trainings annually and mentor clinicians new to specialty care.
