Narrative of Services:

Services include outpatient therapy, intensive outpatient therapy, and intensive outpatient therapy with residential support. About half of my my clients are treated for OCD and the other half are treated for anxiety and depressive disorders. The primarily treatment modalities I use are ERP and CBT.

Training Description:

In graduate school, I was trained in advanced level CBT courses and practicum for anxiety and depression. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Houston OCD Program, where I primarily treated obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety disorders, and depression at the outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care. Throughout the year, I was supervised by senior psychologists at the Houston OCD Program.

Cultural competency was an important part of my graduate training. I trained in a variety of placements in the tri-state area and Houston, which allowed me to gain experience treating various populations. I strive to gain cultural competence through continuing education.
