I provide outpatient psychotherapy for adults with OCD and related disorders, including generalized anxiety, panic disorders, phobias, and perfectionism. Approximately 75% of my caseload involves OCD or related concerns. Treatment is grounded in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), integrated with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and traditional CBT. My practice is private pay, and I frequently work with professionals in high-achieving fields seeking structured, evidence-based care.
I use ERP as the primary treatment for OCD while addressing co-occurring anxiety and depressive disorders. Treatment includes psychoeducation, collaborative hierarchy-building, and gradual, repeated exposures paired with response prevention to reduce avoidance, compulsions, and learned safety behaviors. I integrate behavioral and cognitive strategies to support engagement in exposures and reinforce learning. Care is individualized, with attention to interactions between co-occurring conditions and OCD symptoms. I also prioritize coordinating care with psychiatric providers and any other treating providers.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) from the Anxiety Institute. I have completed intensive training and ongoing consultation with doctoral-level ERP therapists and experienced peers over the past three years. I have treated individuals with a range of OCD presentations in outpatient settings and continue to pursue continuing education in ERP and anxiety disorders. My broader clinical training includes work in community mental health and private practice, with an emphasis on client-centered care.
My practice sees a diverse population across California and Utah, including people from varied racial, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I work with clients navigating cultural expectations, identity development, family dynamics, and intergenerational stress. Many of my clients are new, expecting, or prospective parents. I aim to provide care that is attuned to each client’s cultural context and lived experience, including how OCD symptoms may be shaped by cultural or religious values.
My training includes graduate-level coursework and clinical experience focused on culturally responsive care. I have worked in community mental health settings serving diverse populations and continue to engage in ongoing education related to cultural humility, social determinants of health, and equity in mental health care. In practice, I attend to how culture, identity, and context shape symptom expression, treatment engagement, and meaning-making, and I adapt ERP and other interventions accordingly to ensure they are respectful and relevant to each client.
