Narrative of Services:

Offering ongoing individual, couples and family therapy and school consultation for children, adolescents and adults with OCD and related disorders. Percentage of practice treating OCD clients: 10-40%. OC Related Disorders treated: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Simple Phobia, PANDA/PANS, psychological trauma and Depression.

I work on increased psychological flexibility with ACT skills training, teach sensory pendulation to learn to change sensations, teach affect regulation and self soothing skills, teach tension reduction skills and require ERP and HW completion as part of commitment to change.

I treat clients with OCD and other anxiety or mood disorders, using the same approaches used for OCD, with behavioral activation for depression.

Training Description:

More than 20 years of CBT, ERP, & ACT training specific to child, adolescent and adult clients with OCD and other anxiety disorders in post graduate workshops, conferences and seminars. Participated in ongoing consultation groups and study groups. Completed a McClean’s Hospital 3 day training re: ACT and ERP for children and adolescents. Trained with Hasbro Hospital OCD experts re: treatment of children and adolescents. American Society of Clinical Hypnosis approved continuing education training for CBT & ERP treatment protocols as preparation for in vivo ERP.

My training areas have included implicit bias in therapy and mediation, and diversity training regarding Asian/ Asian American, African American, Hispanic/Hispanic American, and LGBTQ cultures/experiences and values. I have been a long time practitioner/trainee in Tibetan Buddhist meditation and integrate mindfulness and meditation into therapy. I have been a Board Member for the New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp for 7 years.
