Narrative of Services:

Offering ongoing assessment, therapy, consultation and training of professionals for children, adolescents and adults with OCD, anxiety disorder, PTSD/trauma and related disorders. Percentage of practice treating OCD/OCD related disorder clients: 40%. In addition to ACT and ERP skills training, I teach psychological flexibility, sensory modulation, and affect regulation skills. I require daily skills practice, ERP and homework completion as part of an ongoing commitment to change.

I use ACT, ERP and Behavioral Activation to treat Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, PTSD, and Depression.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

ACT for generalized and separation anxiety, panic, mood disorders, ADHD, and social/emotional impact of dyslexia and other learning disabilities.

Training Description:

Have more than 20 years of CBT, ERP, & ACT training specific to child, adolescent and adult clients with OCD and other anxiety disorders in post graduate workshops, conferences and seminars. Participated in ongoing consultation groups and study groups and completed a McClean’s Hospital three day training re: ACT and ERP for children and adolescents and CEU training with Bradley/Hasbro Hospital OCD experts. Completed American Society of Clinical Hypnosis continuing education training for CBT & imaginal exposure protocols as preparation for in vivo ERP. Attended BTTI three day intensive training. American Society of Clinical Hypnosis approved continuing education training for CBT & ERP treatment protocols as preparation for in vivo ERP.

Diversity Statement:

I am an interracial family member and work with a range of multicultural populations in a town committed to pluralism and interfaith exchange, with racial, LGBTQ+, socioeconomic, religious and country of origin diversity. I have been a Board Member for the New England Chinese Youth Summer Camp for 7 years.

I attend at least one training per year on racial, religious, cultural, LGTBQ+ and/or socioeconomic diversity. My training areas have included implicit bias in therapy and mediation, and diversity training regarding Asian/ Asian American, African American, Hispanic/Hispanic American, and LGBTQ+ cultures/experiences and values. I have been a long time practitioner/trainee in Tibetan Buddhist meditation and integrate mindfulness and meditation into therapy.
