Narrative of Services:

At the Center for CBT & Mindfulness, I provide time-limited, cost-effective and evidence-based treatments including the gold standard of care – Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I treat patients across CA & Ohio. Therapy for all types of anxiety, trauma and stress disorders is available, including generalized anxiety, OCD, specific phobias, eating-related fears (i.e. fear of vomiting, choking, contamination, poison), social anxiety, school avoidance, perfectionism, gifted/high achiever related anxiety, PTSD, phase of life transitions, adjustment challenges, and acute/chronic stress. In addition to standard sessions, I offer Exposure Intensives – 3 hour CBT, ERP or PE sessions.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

Treatment comorbidities include: Eating Disorders (including ARFID), Substance Use Disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder.

Training Description:

I am a graduate of Intensive Workshop in Exposure & Response Prevention (Ex/RP) for OCD at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety at the University of Pennsylvania. I’ve also completed intensive training in CBT and related evidence-based treatments with the Beck Institute, Center for Deployment Psychology/Uniformed Services University and UC San Diego’s Eating Disorder Center for Treatment & Research, and UC San Diego’s Center for Mindfulness.

Chelsie facilitated InterGroup Dialogue courses with focus on race and ethnicity at The Ohio State University’s Multicultural Center. Here she also trained student leaders and staff in multiculturalism and managed the Diversity Leadership Transcript Program.
