Scott M. Granet LCSW

Scott M. Granet, LCSW offers individual family, and group therapy for people living with OC Related Disorders. Primary form of treatment offered is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with an emphasis on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). In treatment of Trichotillomania and compulsive skin picking, Mr. Granet utilizes habit reversal strategies. While most sessions are held in-office, home visits are made on a limited basis depending on need. Additionally, Mr. Granet is available for consultation to other clinicians and teaches with many local and national univerisities and organizations offering contuning education classes on OCD and BDD.

Scott M. Granet, LCSW has been treating OC Related Disorders for 20 years, and in June 2008 formed the OCD-BDD Clinic of Northern California. he has taught extensively throughout the US and has given numerous presentations on BDD internationally. Additionally, Mr. Granet is a clinical social worker with the Palo Alto Medical Foundation Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health where he facilitates treatment groups for both panic disorder and OC Related Disorders, with the emphasis of each group being on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
