Narrative of Services:
My practice is almost exclusively dedicated to OCD and mental/emotional conditions that produce chronic avoidance or obsessional/compulsive elements in one’s life, such as social anxiety, depression, or identity conflicts.
I am also dedicated to working with identity development throughout one’s life cycle, whether it be with respect to gender, sexuality, ethnicity/race, or class development.
Training Description:
I served as a community residential counselor at the OCD Institute at McLean Hospital from Oct 2011-July 2015. I then continued at my training under Jason Elias, PhD, at CBTeam, LLC, a group practice based in Arlington, MA, specializing in OCD and related anxiety disorders.
I combine behavioral exposure work with narrative therapy/cultural approaches that emphasize the impact of disorder-related grief on identity and values of the human being.
