Narrative of Services:

I specialize in treating OCD and OC-related disorders using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Inference based CBT (I-CBT). I work with clients aged 6 and older, and will incorporate family and partners in care to provide additional support. I also support clients dealing with anxiety, depression, and additional life stressors, which often occur alongside OCD. My approach focuses on reducing symptoms, fostering sustainable changes, and improving overall quality of life.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

In addition to OCD, phobias, anxiety, and social anxiety, I treat co-occurring conditions such as depression, body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRB), PTSD, and substance use. My approach is individualized and grounded in evidence-based treatments, with a focus on active skill-building to reduce symptoms. For BFRB, I combine the Com-B model with habit reversal training. When treating PTSD, I incorporate techniques from CBT, cognitive processing therapy, and DBT. For substance use, I utilize strategies from DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, and ACT. I work collaboratively with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their goals and values.

Training Description:

I have over 10 years of experience specializing in OCD and anxiety disorders and completed the IOCDF’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) for ERP in 2018. In addition to providing individual therapy, my clinical experience includes providing care in a partial hospital program, collaborating with schools on accommodations, and supervising and training new therapists. I stay current in evidence-based practices by attending specialized trainings and conferences.

Diversity Statement:

I have experience working with diverse populations across various settings, including individual therapy, partial hospital programs, and school collaborations. I prioritize cultural competency by tailoring treatment to each client’s unique background, values, and needs. I regularly engage in professional development focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion to enhance my understanding and skills. My goal is to create a safe, inclusive environment where clients feel respected and supported in addressing their mental health concerns.
