My practice provides outpatient psychotherapy with a strong focus on OCD and related disorders, using evidence-based treatments including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I have treated dozens of individuals with OCD across a range of presentations, including contamination, harm, relationship, and intrusive thought–based symptoms, as well as related conditions such as tic disorders and body-focused repetitive behaviors, including skin picking. Services are individualized and may include psychoeducation, skills training, and coordination of care as clinically indicated.
When treating co-occurring disorders, I use an integrated, evidence-based treatment structure that prioritizes safety and symptom stabilization while addressing OCD and related symptoms through Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Treatment plans are individualized and may incorporate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), cognitive-behavioral, habit reversal, and skills-based interventions to address co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, mood disorders, tic disorders, or body-focused repetitive behaviors. I collaborate with clients to sequence or integrate interventions based on clinical need, functional impairment, and readiness, and I coordinate care with other providers as appropriate.
I have specialized training and clinical experience in the assessment and treatment of OCD and OCD Spectrum Disorders using evidence-based approaches, particularly Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). My training includes graduate and post-graduate coursework, intensive workshops, and ongoing continuing education focused on OCD treatment. I have received supervision and consultation within clinical settings focused on anxiety and OCD-related disorders and have treated individuals across the lifespan with varying symptom presentations and levels of severity. My work integrates ERP with cognitive-behavioral and values-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
I have training and experience in culturally responsive practice, including coursework and continuing education. My professional experience includes working with individuals and families from diverse racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, religious, gender, and sexual identity backgrounds. I prioritize understanding clients’ cultural contexts, values, and systemic influences on mental health, and I adapt interventions to be culturally appropriate. I engage in ongoing self-reflection, consultation, and supervision to ensure respectful, inclusive, and ethical practice with diverse populations
