Training Description:

B.A. in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach. Post-Baccalaureate education in Social Psychology from The University of Oxford. Credentials: Certified Counselor, Certified Peer Counselor, Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee, Agency Affiliated Counselor, Registered Nursing Assistant. Since January 2019, I have maintained a private practice that is devoted to the treatment of OCD, Anxiety Disorders, Phobias, and Trauma. I am an OCD sufferer who has obtained extensive experience in the practice of Exposure and Response Prevention and procured tremendous benefit from this form of treatment. I have translated the fruits of my triumph into therapeutic work with fellow sufferers.

Diversity Statement:

I firmly believe in providing a voice to the marginalized, the oppressed, the subjugated, the divisions of society whose narratives have been silenced as a result of social, political, and economic persecution and demonization. I am a fervent proponent of Cultural Humility and strive to reduce the impact of negative psychosocial and sociocultural variables for each client that I treat. Persons of diverse backgrounds are always welcome and will be validated within the context of their cultural values.
