Narrative of Services:

The majority of my clinical practice is dedicated to treating individuals with OCD and related anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatment for OCD. I help clients break free from the OCD cycle, reduce compulsive behaviors, and regain confidence and emotional well-being. OCD can be sticky and frustrating, but you do not have to face it alone. My goal is to provide compassionate, effective care that supports lasting recovery.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

OCD rarely occurs in isolation, and many individuals experience co-occurring conditions such as anxiety, depression, and interpersonal difficulties. Following a comprehensive diagnostic intake, I work collaboratively with clients to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. My approach integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with personalized support that reflects each client’s unique values, challenges, and goals. By addressing both OCD and co-occurring concerns, I help clients build effective coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and achieve lasting symptom relief.

Training Description:

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Mental Health from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2024. I received specialized training in clinics focused on anxiety and OCD and was mentored by experts in the field. As a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, I regularly attend advanced workshops on OCD treatment and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I also participate in ongoing peer consultation with OCD specialists to remain current with evidence-based practices and provide the highest quality care to children, adolescents, and families.

Diversity Statement:

Creating a safe, affirming environment matters deeply to me. I work hard to ensure that my clients feel respected, valued, and welcome to bring their full identity into therapy .

I am:

LGBTQ+ affirming

Neurodiversity affirming

Committed to culturally responsive and inclusive care

Of the belief that no human is illegal and that we all have the right to feel safe in our communities

It is an honor to support individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, identities, and neurotypes.

Cultural humility was a cornerstone of my training at VCU. Learning about and understanding an individual’s cultural background is paramount to providing high quality clinical care that is best tailored for their individual circumstances.
