Narrative of Services:

Dr. Holtzman is a clinical child psychologist at Rise Center for OCD and Anxiety. She specializes in using cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) treatments. She also has specialized training in Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE), a parent-based treatment program. In line with Rise’s aim to increase access to effective treatments for OCD and related disorders, Dr. Holtzman provides psychotherapy via telehealth to children, adolescents, and parents throughout the state of Louisiana.

Training Description:

Dr. Holtzman completed her doctorate in Clinical Child Psychology in 2010 from the University of Kansas, focusing on evidence-based treatments for children and adolescents. She received extensive training in cognitive-behavioral therapy and exposure and response prevention for OCD and anxiety while completing her postdoctoral fellowship at Saint Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute’s Center for OCD and Anxiety-Related Disorders. While there, Dr. Holtzman was supervised by a member of the IOCDF Scientific and Clinical Advisory Board and faculty of IOCDF’s Behavioral Therapy Training Institute (BTTI). Since that time, Dr. Holtzman has specialized in treating OCD and anxiety disorders in children and adolescents.
