Narrative of Services:

I provide psychotherapeutic services for the assessment and treatment of OCD and related disorders, anxiety and related disorders, depression, and ADHD. At present, my case load is primarily OCD, and I have approximately 2000 hours psychotherapeutically assessing, treating, and scientifically researching OCD.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

The treatment structure is outlined as follows: an initial diagnostic interview will be conducted to evaluate primary, secondary, and tertiary psychopathologies. This will be followed by a collaborative consultation with the patient to develop a treatment plan aligned with appropriate therapeutic options. In cases where OCD is identified as the primary clinical concern, ERP, based on the inhibitory learning model, will be recommended. Should OCD be a secondary concern, alternative treatment options will be presented, including but not limited to the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders (UP) and the Single Disorder Protocol (SDP) from the ‘Treatment That Works’ series, which correspond with the primary clinical presentation.

Training Description:

I am a National Certified Counselor (NCC) recognized by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). My clinical experience includes training in the assessment and treatment of comorbid emotional disorders. I received clinical training at the Kentucky Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders (KYCARDS) under the direct supervision of Dr. Kevin Chapman, who serves on the IOCDF advisory board and is a faculty member at the IOCDF BTTI. I have over 2000 hours in the assessment, treatment, and research of OCD, and am currently pursuing my Ph.D researching religious scrupulosity OCD.

Diversity Statement:

I have extensive education, training, and experience in multicultural competence acquired during my graduate studies. As I pursue my Ph.D., I have conducted comprehensive research on cultural differences in the presentation of OCD, with particular emphasis on religious scrupulosity. Finally, I have completed over 500 hours of clinical assessment and patient treatment across diverse multicultural backgrounds.
