Dr. Jacob is the Owner/Clinical Director of the Jacob Center for Evidence-Based Treatment, which specializes in the evidence-based treatment of youth and adults with OCD, Anxiety, and related disorders (e.g., Trichotillomania, Tourette’s Disorder, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Hoarding). Approximately 90% of Dr. Jacob’s practice focuses on treatment for these disorders. We offer weekly and intensive treatment, and utilize evidence-based treatment methods, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT)/Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). We are extremely committed to helping patients effectively manage symptoms, make desired improvements, and reach goals using evidence-based treatment strategies.
Dr. Jacob specializes in the treatment of youth and adults with OCD, Anxiety, and related disorders. She has extensive training, which includes work in the UF OCD Program, and a 3-year post-doctoral fellowship at the USF Rothman Center for Neuropsychiatry, which specializes in the research and treatment of OCD, Anxiety, and Related Disorders. Dr. Jacob has published over 45 scientific journal articles, written several book chapters, and engaged in numerous presentations on OCD, Anxiety, and Related Disorders. She is Board Certified in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology, and is President of OCD Central & South Florida (IOCDF Affiliate).
