I am a general psychiatrist with almost 20 year of experience in assessing , diagnosing and treating different mental disorders . In 2015 I was considered one of the most prominent psychiatrists in the middle east . In 2017 I started to provide teletherapy to OCD patients in particular using the evidence-based treatments ( cognitive behavioral therapy , ACT, intensive treatment options ) and medication if possible .

Obsessive compulsive symptoms can be found in different disorders especially ( schizophrenic disorder , bipolar disorder , MDD, Autism spectrum disorders , Tourette disorder , and panic disorder …) and each entails specific treatment

Like all general psychiatrists I spent 6 year at medical school and 4 years of training in the filed of psychiatry and was awarded the degree with good esteem . well, that ‘s not unusual but what is unusual is that i did that all while struggling with OCD which i was afflicted with in my early adolescence . hence I believe I can do a lot to the O.C.D community holding with me my own subjective experience , my objective knowledge and most importantly my good will .

To contact a psychiatrist is an easy thing to do but what is hard to do is to find and contact a psychiatrist who is acquainted with your social and cultural background ( language , religion , traditions, customs … ) and I believe this is of high importance to the Arab and Moslem community especially when OCD targets religion and morality (scrupulosity ) .
