Narrative of Services:

I have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of OCD including training through the IOCDF (BTTI certified), frequent ongoing bi-weekly consultation with peers as well as experts in the field of OCD across the nation and world, totaling approximately 206 hours over the past eight years to date. Continuing education includes attending national professional training events and conferences provided by the International OCD Foundation (IOCDF.org) and the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA.org) on OCD and related disorders.

Training Description:

I am a clinician in private practice devoted to effective and compassionate treatment of Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders. Treatment modalities include CBT interventions, the type of therapy demonstrated by research to be the most effective for treating anxiety, including Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) the “gold standard” psychological treatment for OCD. Other evidence based interventions include Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion focused therapy, and Mindfulness based strategies. I offer both in-office and teletherapy sessions, depending on circumstance and patient preference. I accept some insurance and private pay. Approximately 80% my practice is comprised of individuals struggling with OCD.

Diversity Statement:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder does not discriminate and is found worldwide across diverse populations, cultures, and ethnic groups. Providing therapy for individuals with OCD and related anxiety disorders for over eight years, a variety of individuals have found their way to my office. This has provided me with a rich experience of working with a wide range of individual differences. I strive to make everyone feel respected, honored, understood, and most of all welcome.
