Alina Khomenko, PsyD
Narrative of Services:
Dr. Khomenko specializes in providing treatment to adolescents and adults with OCD, anxiety disorders, and Tourette’s syndrome. She is trained in evidence-based approaches, which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), and Habit Reversal Training (HRT). Additionally, she incorporates mindfulness-based interventions into her work with clients. Dr. Khomenko brings compassion, empathy, and warmth to her work with clients. Utilizing a collaborative approach, she encourages clients to take an active role in developing their unique treatment plans and goals.

Dr. Khomenko obtained her PsyD in School Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology (GSAPP) at Rutgers University. She acquired experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with Tourette’s syndrome, OCD, and anxiety disorders at the Tourette’s Syndrome Clinic at Rutgers University. Dr. Khomenko completed an APA-accredited internship at Southwest Behavioral and Health Services in Arizona and completed her postdoctoral training at Austin Anxiety and OCD Specialists, specializing in evidence-based treatments for OCD, anxiety, and Tourette’s Syndrome. Dr. Khomenko is also a graduate of the International OCD Foundation’s Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI).
