My practice (a sole proprietorship) is limited to children, adolescents, and their families. I specialize in behavioral therapies/CBT for anxiety disorders (e.g., OCD, Selective Mutism, Separation Anxiety, phobias, panic) adn employ scientifically-supported exposure-based interventions such as exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD, in-vivo (real-life) exposure, and others. I favor an ecological approach to treatment (i.e., by intervening in the child's natural environment- home, school, community, wherever) and do not limit my work to the office. I have access to a network of psychologists and psychiatrists (several specialize in treating OCD) with whom I often collaborate.

My educational background includes extensive exposure to the scientific underpinnings of the behavioral therapies, including ERP, contingency management, stimulus control, etc. I worked at the Behavior Therapy Center of Greater Washington from 09/2000 to 01/2005. I received supervision and consultation from many colleagues during my tenure there and have also attended many colloquia/workshops. For the past 9 years, my practice has focused on the treatment of childhood anxiety disorders. I've seen approximately 425 children with OCD/OC related disorders.
