I offer individual CBT with exposure and response prevention (ERP) for clients ages 10 and up with OCD or OCD spectrum disorders. At least half of my caseload falls into this category. As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I integrate families/caregivers extensively into my work with children and teens. I can also provide family therapy for families looking for support when a family member has been diagnosed with OCD, as well as specialized couple’s therapy.
I treat Major Depressive Disorder and other Anxiety disorders using CBT and ACT. I also integrate DBT skills where helpful/appropriate. I am comfortable and have experience working with neurodiverse clients such as those diagnosed with ADHD and ASD. I treat BFRBs (skin picking/hair pulling) with ComB.
I have received advanced clinical and professional training in the treatment of OCD and related disorders. At least 50% of my caseload is typically OCD spectrum cases, and I have specialized in treating OCD and related disorders since 2020. I have attended consultation groups for OCD treatment through IOCDF and continue to engage in consultation groups with OCD experts. I completed the Pediatric BTTI through IOCDF.
I am gender and sexuality affirming for all ages, and have worked with a variety of individuals who identify as LGBTQ+.
I have experience with and deeply value working with clients from a variety of backgrounds. A cornerstone of my graduate training was extensive work on practicing therapy from a culturally sensitive lens – considering the relevance of ethnicity, race, gender, socioeconomic status, religion, and culture for each client. This is something I carry into my current practice in order to respect and understand each client as best as possible within their context.
