Kaitlin Lavris, LCSW
Approximately 10% (4 patients) of my current caseload involves patients being treated for OCD/OC related disorders. My goal (and hope) is to make treatment of OCD my focus area and expand my practice to a larger percentage of treating OCD/OC related disorders.
I treat co-occurring OCD and anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and other obsessive-compulsive related disorders. Using therapeutic assessments and collaboration with the patient, a personalized treatment plan is created to meet the patient’s unique needs.
I specialize in helping people with OCD, anxiety disorders, depression, and ADHD, primarily using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In 2022, I completed an intensive Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) workshop through the Cognitive Behavior Institute (CBI) and am currently participating in CBI’s ERP consultation group where I demonstrate and am evaluated on my ERP skills and continue to learn and process cases through consultation. Once completed at the end of summer 2023, I will be a Certified ERP Therapist.
