Narrative of Services:
At our practice, we provide evidence-based, individualized care for clients with OCD and related disorders, including generalized OCD, contamination fears, checking, intrusive thoughts, and hoarding. Approximately 65% of our clinical work is dedicated to treating OCD and OC-related disorders. Our services include assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing therapy using approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with exposure and response prevention (ERP), as well as adjunctive strategies tailored to each client’s needs. We also offer support for transitioning between care levels, including bridging inpatient, intensive outpatient, and standard outpatient therapy.
Training Description:
I have over 5 years years of experience providing evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders. My training includes post-doctoral work in OCD-focused settings, workshops and continuing education in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with an emphasis on exposure and response prevention (ERP), and ongoing supervision with senior providers specializing in OCD treatment. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing intensive and standard care, and have supported clients across the lifespan. This experience has allowed me to develop expertise in assessing OCD symptoms, implementing individualized treatment plans, and helping clients generalize skills across contexts to achieve lasting improvement.
Diversity Statement:
Our practice is committed to providing culturally responsive and inclusive care. We serve clients from a variety of racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds and have BIPOC providers available to support clients who prefer culturally matched care. Our clinicians have experience working with diverse populations and are trained to consider cultural factors in assessment, treatment planning, and therapy delivery. This includes understanding how cultural values, beliefs, and experiences can shape mental health, symptom presentation, and engagement in treatment. We strive to create a welcoming environment where all clients feel seen, understood, and respected.
I have training and experience providing culturally competent care to clients from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ populations. I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting clients while considering cultural values, beliefs, and experiences in assessment and treatment planning. Our practice includes BIPOC providers, allowing clients the option of culturally matched care. Clinicians are trained to integrate cultural awareness into therapy, ensuring treatment is inclusive, respectful, and tailored to each individual’s unique background.
