Narrative of Services:
Since 2017, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient mental health clinics and public school settings. I am an Advanced Certified Autism Specialist with extensive experience treating developmental disorders, anxiety, and OCD through personalized, holistic approaches tailored to each Client’s unique needs. About 50% of my clients have ASD, 30% present with OCD, and some experience both alongside other challenges. I consider myself a lifelong learner, consistently engaging with current research, clinical tools, and innovative practices. This commitment has significantly contributed to their meaningful progress.
Training Description:
I am an Advanced Certified Autism Specialist with eight years of experience working with clients on the autism spectrum. I have received extensive training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and have gained valuable field experience treating OCD and other comorbid conditions.
Diversity Statement:
I am a bilingual therapist fluent in English and Korean, with a deep understanding of both cultures. I provide culturally responsive counseling that respects clients’ cultural values and family dynamics. I specialize in working with youth and young adults and serve as an effective bridge between parents and children experiencing cultural or language gaps.
As a bilingual Korean-English therapist and licensed clinical counselor, I have extensive experience providing culturally attuned services to immigrant and multicultural families. My work in outpatient clinics and schools has deepened my understanding of cultural identity, intergenerational conflict, and language barriers. I offer culturally sensitive care that honors family values, faith backgrounds, and unique social contexts. I also specialize in supporting Korean youth and young adults navigating bicultural challenges and have served as a mediator in families with cultural and generational gaps. I remain committed to ongoing learning and cultural humility in my clinical practice.
