Narrative of Services:

I use ERP as the primary treatment for OCD across subtypes, integrated with ACT to address experiential avoidance and values-based engagement. Co-occurring anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health concerns are addressed using CBT. My doctoral training at the University of Vermont and internship training at the American Lake VA emphasized empirically-supported treatments, supplemented by specialized perinatal mental health training through PSI.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I begin with a thorough assessment to understand how co-occurring conditions (e.g., anxiety or depression) interact. Treatment is then sequenced intentionally, typically prioritizing OCD with ERP, as reducing OCD symptoms often improves co-occurring concerns. CBT and ACT are integrated throughout. The structure is always transparent and goal-directed.

Training Description:

I have four years of experience treating OCD, grounded in ERP training received during my doctoral program at the University of Vermont under specialized supervision. Clinical experience spans contamination, harm, sexual, and perinatal OCD — with perinatal presentations being my primary OCD focus. ERP is my primary modality, integrated with ACT and CBT as indicated.

Diversity Statement:

I have clinical experience working with individuals across diverse ethnic, cultural, and sexual identity backgrounds, developed through my training at the American Lake VA Women’s Health Clinic and maintained in my current practice. I work from an intersectional feminist, culturally responsive framework and regularly see LGBTQ+ clients, including queer and non-binary individuals, attending to how identity, lived experiences, and cultural context shape OCD presentation and treatment.
