Narrative of Services:

I have worked exclusively with people struggling with symptoms of OCD, anxiety, and related disorders (including body-focused repetitive behaviors, panic, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, phobias, etc.) since 2017. With this experience I am able to find creative solutions within evidence-based treatment models based of each client’s unique needs and preferences. These treatments include:
–CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy)
–ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention)
–I-CBT (Inference-Based CBT is a cognitive treatment for OCD)
–ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
–SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions)
–ComB and/or Habit Reversal (Comprehensive Behavioral Model for BFRBs)
–Family Therapy

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I use Written Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy to address trauma and PTSD, and I use CBT to address anxiety disorders, depression, and life transitions.

Training Description:

I have worked in a variety of treatment settings such as outpatient clinics, schools, intensive outpatient programs, and partial hospitalization programs. I received the first part of my OCD training with Rogers Behavioral Health, and now I keep up to date on my training with consultation groups, networking groups, research, and IOCDF.

I am lucky enough to have a private practice where I dedicate 100% of my work to those looking to take their lives back from OCD, anxiety, and related disorders. I am licensed to provide therapy in both Minnesota and South Dakota.

Diversity Statement:

I have spent a great deal of time with clients from many backgrounds including people in the LGBTQ+ community, those from minority populations, and people from different faith backgrounds.

I aim to stay informed and curious about all of the people I meet. I do this by attending trainings, seeking consultation, asking questions, and aiming to be an authentic, open human wanting to connect with other humans.
