Bruce A. Levine, PhD, ABPP

Dr. Levine specializes in the treatment of OCD and its variants. Approximately 70% of his practice focuses on this issue and he employs both CBT and ERP to assist patients suffering from this problem. He is also one of only 5% of all clinical psychologists in the United States holding Board Certification from the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP). the highest professional credential of competence in the field.

Dr. Levine treats both OCD and co-occurring disorders including panic, depression and related anxiety disorders.

Following a Ph.D. at Hofstra University in New York, Dr. Levine completed a 2-year Post Doctoral Clinical Fellowship in behavioral therapy at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, training under luminaries in behavior therapy for anxiety disorders and OCD such as Dr. Joseph Wolpe & Dr. Edna Foa. He was appointed as the Chief Psychologist at Mt. Sinai South-Nassau Medical Center in New York and after moving to California in 2012 he became a clinical psychologist at the UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles. Dr. Levine also served as a psychologist for the hit TV series “Hoarders” on the A&E TV Network and on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Behavior Therapy and Experimental Psychiatry
