Bruce A. Levine, PhD, ABPP
Narrative of Services:
In addition to my office in Beverly Hills, my practice is now primarily via secure, HIPAA-compliant, internet-based video sessions for patients throughout the States of California, Hawaii and New York. Over 50% of my clients suffer from OCD or OCD-spectrum disorders. You can be treated from the comfort, security and safety of your own home or office. Hours and days are flexible and although I do not participate in any insurance plans, I will provide completed medical claim forms so that you can obtain direct reimbursement from your PPO-type medical plan.
Following a Ph.D. at Hofstra University (NY), Dr. Levine then completed a 2-year Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Behavior Therapy at Temple University School of Medicine (PA), where he received extensive training in the behavioral treatment of OCD. While serving as the Chief Psychologist at Mt. Sinai South Nassau Medical Center in NY, Dr. Levine attained Board Certification (ABPP) in Clinical Psychology (note: only about 5% of all clinical psychologists hold this Board Certification). After moving to California in 2012 he became a clinical psychologist at the UCLA Medical School and is currently licensed to practice in California, Hawaii and New York.
Prior to becoming the Chief Psychologist at Mt. Sinai South Nassau Medical Center in New York, Dr. Levine first served as a psychologist at a small community mental health clinic in a minority, underserved community on Long Island. This provided extensive experience working with minority group patients that would set the stage for his later work with the larger and even more diverse population served at Mt. Sinai.
