Rebecca Lieberman PsyD
My therapeutic approach is empathic, collaborative, and infused with a good sense of humor. I provide exposure and response prevention (ERP) to clients experiencing all subtypes of OCD. When clinically appropriate, I integrate other cognitive behavioral interventions, including dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
I provide evidence-based treatment for a range of mood and anxiety disorders, using a CBT and DBT-informed approach. By treating co-occuring disorders, I am able to provide a client-tailored approach that focuses on each client’s specific needs and goals.
I earned my PsyD from LIU Post’s clinical psychology doctoral program. I received extensive training in exposure and response prevention as a predoctoral intern at the Northwell Health OCD Center, where I was supervised by Dr. Anthony Pinto, a member of the IOCDF scientific advisory board. During my postdoctoral fellowship at Zucker Hillside Hospital and early professional years at a group practice, I continued to receive supervision and training from senior CBT clinicians.
I have experience working with individuals and families from diverse socio-economic, racial, and religious backgrounds. I specialize in working with the Orthodox Jewish population.
