My practice primarily focuses on the treatment of anxiety and OCD-related disorders using evidence-based approaches, including CBT and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). Approximately 60-70% of my caseload involves individuals with OCD or related conditions. I have treated a substantial number of adolescents and adults with a range of OCD presentations, including contamination, harm, perfectionism, relationship OCD, and “just right” OCD. I also work with co-occurring conditions such as ADHD, mood disorders, and substance use, providing structured, skills-based, and individualized care.
I use an individualized, evidence-based approach to treat co-occurring conditions, integrating CBT, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Treatment is structured yet flexible, prioritizing the primary drivers of distress while addressing overlapping symptoms (e.g., anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and mood concerns). Sessions are collaborative and skills-focused, with an emphasis on building practical tools, improving functioning, and supporting meaningful behavioral change. When appropriate, I coordinate care with psychiatrists, schools, or other providers to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive treatment plan.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with advanced training in evidence-based treatments for OCD and related disorders, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I began formal training in OCD during my PhD program at Stony Brook University and have been delivering ERP since 2012. I completed my clinical internship and postdoctoral fellowship at McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical School. I have over a decade of ERP experience and continue to engage in advanced trainings and consultation to maintain fidelity to empirically supported protocols.
