Narrative of Services:
In my practice, I work primarily with children, teens, and young adults with anxiety and/or OCD-spectrum disorders, including tics/Tourette syndrome, emetophobia, and trichotillomania. Following evidence-based assessment, I use a combination of Exposure and Response Prevention, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Training Description:
I first began working with clients with OCD and OCD-spectrum disorders 15 years ago, while on internship and then post-doctoral fellowship at Nemours Children’s Health (NCH) in Wilmington DE, under the supervision of a senior psychologist who specialized in OCD. As a licensed psychologist, I continued my work treating these conditions as the liaison to the Division of Neurology at NCH for several years. I am now in private practice and continue to refine my clinical approach through IOCDF workshops.
Diversity Statement:
I strive to maintain an antiracist, culturally humble stance in my clinical work. I am LGBTQUIA+ affirming and welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and identities.
