Fiona Macphee PhD

For the last 3 years my practice has focused on treating OCD and related anxiety. With a strong training background in ADHD and working with parents, I have been able to successfully treat individuals with co-occurring ADHD, executive functioning difficulties, and OCD. These individuals make up the majority of my client base.

I am highly specialized in working with children and teens with ADHD, anxiety, selective mutism, OCD, school refusal and behavioral problems.

I have particular expertise in helping parents of these youth learn effective tools that will support their kids’ individual needs. My approach works for families because it is grounded in medical research and has been shown to help thousands of families.

I specialize in diagnosing and treating OCD, anxiety disorders, and ADHD, along with the challenges that often accompany them. For over 15 years, I’ve helped hundreds of children, teens, and parents. I trained at NYU’s Child Study Center, the Child Mind Institute, and Seattle Children’s Hospital. My research at the University of Pittsburgh and Florida International University focused on ADHD and behavior treatments. At the Evidence-Based Treatment Centers of Seattle, I provided intensive therapy for anxiety, OCD, and selective mutism, and developed ADHD-specific programs.
