Narrative of Services:
I utilize EMDR, CBT, and Exposure and Response Prevention in my work with clients.
At this time, 40% of my clients struggle with one or more types of OCD (7 clients), 40% are dealing with trauma (7 clients), and 20% other (4 clients).
Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:
I utilize EMDR to help clients work through traumatic and unprocessed experiences.
I also utilize EMDR to help clients reprocess first and worst OCD experiences, which facilitates Exposure and Response Prevention.
Training Description:
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 30+ years of experience working with clients of all ages, including at least 10 years experience working with OCD clients. I am certified in EMDR through the EMDR International Association. I am a parent of a child with OCD and am well versed with the impact and challenges of living with and treating OCD. I attend the IOCD annual conference.

I have 30+ years of experience and training in cultural competency and working with diverse populations inculding: Home and school-based services, outpatient mental health, private practice, higher education and county mental health programs. Throughout my career in mental health, I have secured more than $7 million in county, state, and national grants and contracts serving diverse populations.
