Narrative of Services:

Most of the clients I see in my private practice have OCD or one of its related disorders such as hoarding, body dysmorphic disorder, and body-focused repetitive behaviors. I offer weekly therapy sessions as well as an intensive treatment program tailored to each person’s specific treatment needs and goals. The frequency of the intensive treatment I provide is flexible and depends on the severity and nature of the client’s symptoms and whether multiple co-occuring conditions may be present.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I treat disorders that often present with OCD, such as social anxiety disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, specific phobias, as well as hoarding and body dysmorphic disorder. I use exposure-based and established cognitive behavioral approaches to treat these conditions.

Training Description:

I am a psychologist and specialize in the treatment of OCD and related disorders using exposure and response prevention (ERP) and other empirically supported approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness practice. I received my specialized training in the OCD Intensive Treatment Program at UCLA and I have been working with persons and families affected by OCD since the beginning of my training as a psychologist.

Diversity Statement:

I have worked with diverse clinical populations that have included male, female, non-binary and LGBTQ persons of multiple ethnicities and cultures. I strive to provide an accepting and non-judgmental space for anyone struggling with OCD and other mental health issues.
