Chad McCoy, LPC-S
Narrative of Services:
My practice primarily treats clientele struggling with a variety of presentations of OCD and related disorders. During my work at a community non-profit, I worked with 1-2 OCD clients each year; however, many referrals were redirected due to the clinics inability to bill insurance.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
I have been a licensed professional since 2015. Since 2017, I have been a state license supervisor and have worked with other professionals as a consult for OCD clientele. I have worked with OCD children, adolescents, and adults ranging from “just perfect” OCD, contamination phobic OCD, and scrupulosity OCD. I attended the Pediatric BTTI in 2019 through the IOCDF in Oconomowoc, WI. I have also presented educational opportunities for professionals wanting to know more about OCD and ER/P.
Exposure therapy with response prevention can be utilized with a wide range of diverse gender expressions and identities, sexual orientations, or sex. It is my aim to help those who are in need, regardless of their identity, orientation or expression.
My work in community based non-profit work has given me the opportunity to engage with a diverse population of individuals. CARF International Certification requires routine multicultural training for all staff and therapist to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all that seek help.
