Sarah McCoy, PhD
Narrative of Services:
Currently, a small percentage of my clients present with symptoms of OCD. This small percentage includes children as young as six, teenagers, and adults who suffer from OCD. I have also treated people who suffer from Trichotillomania and Tourettes Disorder, including Coprolalia. We have two psychiatrists in the office, who provide medication management to assist in the treatment of OCD.
I also specialize in treating Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar I and II, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Social Phobia, PTSD, and ADHD. I utilize a cognitive behavioral approach for most of these disorders, though I utilize EMDR for trauma-based issues.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
I received training in OCD through my graduate work, including serving patients with OCD during my practicums and internship. I have been licensed as a clinical psychologist for over 10 years and have successfully treated children, teens, and adults through psycho-education and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy/Exposure and Response Prevention.
