Narrative of Services:

My practice is highly specialized in OCD and anxiety-related disorders, which make up approximately 80–90% of my caseload. Over the course of my career, I have treated hundreds of individuals with OCD across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults, in outpatient and intensive levels of care (IOP). I provide evidence-based treatment using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), with integration of ACT and CBT. My work also includes treating related conditions such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), hoarding, and anxiety disorders, with a focus on individualized, outcomes-driven care.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I use a structured, evidence-based approach that integrates Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) with CBT and ACT to address OCD alongside co-occurring conditions. Treatment is individualized, focusing on functional assessment, values-based goals, and skill-building. For ADHD and ASD, I incorporate executive functioning supports and sensory-informed strategies. For eating disorders and tic disorders, I integrate behavioral interventions (e.g., HRT/CBIT) and collaborate with multidisciplinary providers when appropriate. Care is paced, collaborative, and tailored to reduce avoidance, increase flexibility, and support meaningful daily functioning.

Training Description:

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 18 years of clinical experience, including the past 5 years specializing in OCD and related disorders. I received advanced training in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) under the mentorship of Dr. Patrick McGrath, a nationally recognized expert in OCD treatment. My training includes intensive workshops, ongoing consultation, and supervised clinical practice focused on evidence-based care. I have experience treating OCD across levels of care, including outpatient and intensive programs (IOP), and continue to engage in ongoing professional development to stay aligned with current research and best practices.

Diversity Statement:

I work with a diverse population across multiple states, providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care. I have experience supporting LGBTQ+ individuals, neurodivergent clients, and families navigating complex systems. My work is also informed by lived experience supporting a family member within the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent community, as well as a child with OCD/PANS, which deepens my empathy and understanding. I emphasize cultural humility, collaboration, and individualized care, recognizing the impact of identity, stigma, and systemic barriers on treatment engagement.

My training in cultural competency is grounded in trauma-informed care, social work ethics, and ongoing professional development focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Throughout my career, I have worked with diverse populations across schools, community settings, and healthcare systems. I have experience supporting individuals across racial, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds, as well as LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. I approach treatment with cultural humility, recognizing the impact of identity, systemic barriers, and stigma on mental health, and I tailor evidence-based interventions to align with each client’s cultural context and lived experience.
