Katie Merricks PhD

Dr. Merricks specializes in creating individual treatment plans appropriate for each patient working one-on-one to provide the best possible care. Approximately 90% of her caseload is individuals suffering from OCD with the remainder pertaining to OC-Spectrum Related Disorders.

Dr. Merricks has extensive training in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive and other anxiety-related disorders. Dr. Merricks completed pre-doctoral training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital where she completed intensive training in OCD. Dr. Merricks has worked for Rogers Behavioral Health at inception where she treated children and adolescents with severe and impairing OCD. Furthermore, she has significant experience in treating trichotillomania, excoriation, body dysmorphic disorder, selective mutism, and emetophobia.

Dr. Merricks has serviced on the board for OCDCSFL, one of IOCDF’s Florida affiliates, as Vice President since 2019.
