Narrative of Services:

I am currently the only therapist in my practice that treats OCD and related disorders. I see individuals age 6 and older.

Treatment of Co-occurring Disorders:

I am trained in behavioral activation to treat individuals with depression.

Training Description:

Trained at one of the nation’s leading behavioral health hospitals, I started my career as a therapist in a child and adolescent OCD and anxiety day treatment program. Now in an outpatient setting, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and exposure and response prevention (ERP) remain primary modalities in my practice. I seek continuing education for OCD and related disorders, as well as consult regularly with other clinicians who specialize in the field.

Diversity Statement:

In addition to being an outpatient therapist working in a traditional clinical setting, I am also a Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) therapist. This role has allowed me to work with individuals of varying backgrounds and income levels in community and in-home settings.

Cultural humility remains at the forefront of my practice as a counselor. During my intake process, I discuss multicultural identities with my clients and discuss how they may intersect with mental health. Of particular importance to me is creating a safe space for marginalized populations, and I strive to be queer- and neurodiversity-affirming.
