Our practice specializes in evidence-based treatment for OCD and related disorders, with over 50% of our caseload presenting with OCD, OC-related symptoms, or significant anxiety disorders. Across my career, I have treated hundreds of individuals with OCD, ranging from mild to complex presentations and co-occurring conditions. We offer a structured, compassionate, and skills-focused approach using ERP, CBT, ACT, DBT-informed strategies, and family guidance when appropriate. Services include individual therapy (virtual and in-person), parent support, and collaboration with schools and other providers to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care.
My treatment approach for co-occurring disorders alongside OCD is structured, collaborative, and evidence-based. I integrate ERP as the core intervention, supported by CBT for cognitive restructuring and ACT to build psychological flexibility and reduce struggle with internal experiences. DBT skills- distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness- strengthen coping and stability. I also incorporate positive psychology strategies to enhance resilience, values alignment, and overall well-being. Treatment is individualized, paced appropriately, and focused on building sustainable skills while reducing symptoms and improving functioning across life domains.
My graduate training followed a clinical scientist model emphasizing empirically supported treatments, including extensive instruction and supervised practice in ERP for OCD. During my post-doctoral fellowship, I continued specialized training in ERP and treated a high volume of individuals with OCD. I have pursued additional training in Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT) and participate in ongoing group supervision to maintain fidelity and clinical sharpness. I have been treating OCD and related disorders for several years across outpatient, intensive, and private practice settings.
My training emphasized culturally responsive, identity-affirming care, including formal coursework in multicultural psychology and applied training using the ADDRESSING framework to understand intersecting identities and systemic influences. I completed clinical rotations serving racially, ethnically, and socioeconomically diverse communities, as well as LGBTQ+ individuals and clients with varied religious backgrounds. Work in IOP/PHP and outpatient settings further strengthened my ability to adapt evidence-based treatments to each client’s cultural context. I approach care with humility, curiosity, and collaboration, integrating clients’ identities, values, and lived experiences to provide respectful, culturally sensitive care.
