Stephanie Montague PhD
The majority of my practice-approximately 90 percent-is comprised of clients of all ages struggling with OCD, anxiety disorders, and depression. I have treated hundreds of clients with these issues, and find it to be immensely rewarding. I find that many of my clients have suffered in silence and, unfortunately, with shame, because of OCD, and they are appreciative of the understanding and help that I provide, which is deeply gratifying to me.
OCD frequently co-occurs with depression, anxiety, body-focused disorders and, while it comes as a surprise to some clients, ADHD. I initially focus on the issues that are causing the most distress so that we have space to address the OCD.
I have been in private practice for over 30 years, and have been specializing in the treatment of OCD and anxiety disorders for the past ten years. I am passionate about this work, and have stayed current with the latest developments in the field through ongoing intensive training and small-group consultation, as well as attending the annual IOCDF conferences.
