60% of my practice is dedicated to OCD and related OC disorders. The remainder of my practice is focused on assessment and consultation, and treatment of anxiety disorders, traumatic stress disorders, ADHD, and specific eating disorder presentations (predominantly ARFID and Binge Eating Disorder). I have treated hundreds of individuals with OCD or OC related disorders.
I work with substance use disorders co-occurring with anxiety or OCD disorders, as well as ADHD co-occurring with OCD. My work with substance use disorders utilizes an integrated harm reduction psychotherapy approach combined with other approaches specific to OCD or anxiety disorders, most often approaches grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy such as CBT (ERP and ICBT), ACT, Habit Reversal Training, or Comprehensive Behavioral Treatment (ComB). Treatment for ADHD and OCD depends on specific presentation and individual needs.
I have treated OCD for 8 years – first as a counselling therapist, and then as a clinical psychologist.
I have completed additional training and education in Indigenous worldviews and cultures and working with Indigenous Peoples and experience working with Indigenous Peoples. I also have experience working with sex workers, and LGBTQIA2S+ people.
