Ariane Myers PhD

Dr. Myers specializes in the treatment of OCD and OCD spectrum disorders in children, teens, and adults. She has particular expertise in helping treat OCD in individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities. When treating OCD, Dr. Myers collaborates with clients and their families to develop a treatment plan that best fits their needs. Typically, this plan would include Exposure and Response Prevention but may also include cognitive therapy, inference-based CBT, emotion regulation skills, mindfulness, and/or family therapy.

I also specialize in treating the impacts of disability from neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism, ADHD, Tourette’s, and intellectual disability. For these conditions I use a neurodiversity affirming framework which supports an individual in understanding themselves and ways to improve supports in their environments.

Dr. Myers has had comprehensive training in the treatment of OCD spectrum disorders including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Habit Reversal Training, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also is dedicated to keeping abreast of current research and evidence-based treatments in the field of OCD treatment in order to provide her clients with the best treatment and has received additional training in ACT and I-CBT for the treatment of OCD
