Brian Neville PhD
I use CBT, ERP, and biofeedback to treat OCD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I use mindfulness and biofeedback to help clients learn to calm their minds and bodies, but it has become quite clear over the years that learning to face the things that trigger fear and anxiety is essential to recovering from OCD, phobias, panic, and other fear-based disorders. It takes true bravery to do so, and I work to help clients discover that bravery can be learned. Working on these problems with children and adolescents is a team effort that always includes parents.
I have a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I did a pre-doctoral internship in pediatric psychology at Michigan State University and a post-doctoral fellowship in adolescent mood disorders at the University of Washington. I have worked with clients with OCD for 15 years and it has become an increasingly large focus of my work over the years.
