Erin takes an integrative approach to therapy, which allows her to tailor therapeutic services to the unique needs of each individual child and family. She values collaboration with parents and other service providers and utilizes a strength-based and playful approach to therapy to foster caring relationships.
Erin specializes in treating Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Autism Spectrum Disorders, Selective Mutism, Tic Disorders, and Disruptive Behavior Disorders in children and adolescents. She recognizes that these challenges often affect relationships within the family and incorporates family into therapy.
Erin is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin and Certified Professional Practitioner of Animal Assisted Play Therapy. She received her master’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and has received advanced training in Infant, Early Childhood, and Family Mental Health, Play Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Animal Assisted Play Therapy. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the field of mental health working with children and adolescents.
