Narrative of Services:
There is a clear need for a specialized treatment for Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, traditional talk therapy serves to prolong the symptoms and can end up making those living with OCD feel worse. Exposure and Response Prevention (EXRP or ERP) therapy has been proven highly effective. Maggie has been trained in EXRP at the University of Pennsylvania’s renowned Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety. A majority of the clients seen have OCD or related diagnoses such as phobias, BFRBs, anxiety, etc. Maggie is passionate about working with individuals to reduce the distress caused by symptoms of OCD.
Training Description:
Maggie has been trained in EXRP at the University of Pennsylvania’s renowned Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety with additional consultation to become a certified Exposure and Response Prevention Therapist. Now, Maggie engages in ongoing consultation and staying up to date with research to supplement trainings.
