Renee Osborne, MA, LPC
Narrative of Services:
A number of my clients are Christians who often see their OCD as sinful. My desire is to not only treat my clients but educate church leaders on OCD awareness and proper treatment protocols. I often diagnose OCD when clients present with relational problems. Currently, my practice is 10% OCD/OC related disorders. I have treated 18 people with OCD, but am getting a number of new referrals as word gets out regarding effective treatment.
Facilities accessible by clients of all mobility levels: Yes
Over 100 hours of observation with a local BTTI-trained therapist who speaks at the National Convention, raised a daughter with moderate/severe OCD, attended BTTI in 1/2017 and have one follow up call remaining.
Race/Ethnicity: White, Caucasian, or European American
I obtained training in cultural competency as part of my graduate program. In addition, I have experience traveling and engaging in the culture in both Africa and Japan. I work with those who relocate to other cultures to provide care and gain a great deal of insight in that regard.
