Renee Osborne, MA, LPC
Narrative of Services:
Many of my OCD clients seek out therapy with no awareness that they have OCD. They often present with symptoms of depression and/or anxiety. A number of my clients are Christians who are experiencing great distress because they believe they are walking in sin. My desire is to treat the OCD so these clients can experience joy instead of condemnation in their faith. My desire is to not only treat my clients but educate church leaders on OCD awareness and proper treatment protocols. Currently, my practice is around 20% OCD/OC related disorders.
OCD clients often struggle with depression and/or anxiety and those issues are treated as part of the OCD therapy.

I obtained training in cultural competency as part of my graduate program. In addition, I have experience traveling and engaging in the culture in both Africa and Japan. I work with those who relocate to other cultures to provide care and gain a great deal of insight in that regard.
