Sandra Ostroff PsyD
I offer individual therapy in-person in Conshohocken, PA and virtually in 41 states for OCD, OC Spectrum Disorders, and Anxiety Disorders. I work with both teens and adults. Currently, about 70% of my caseload has OCD/OC Related Disorders. I have worked successfully with many individuals with OCD in both individual and group therapy settings. I also have experience treating high severity presentations of OCD and Anxiety Disorders.
I also treat co-occuring Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Specific Phobias, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Relationship OCD/Anxiety and ADHD.
My approach to treatment prioritizes 3 components: compassion/validation (helping you feel supported and understood in your journey with OCD), active/evidence-based (we work together using research backed techniques to help you reach your treatment goals), and time-limited (my ultimate goal is you no longer needing me because you have gained the mindset and skills to cope independently through ERP).
I received my PsyD in Clinical Psychology at La Salle University where I was taught by several experts in OCD and Anxiety Disorders in children, teens, and adults. I have been treating OCD, OC Spectrum Disorders and Anxiety Disorders for over 5 years. I completed my post-doctoral fellowship at a center specialized in OCD and Anxiety Disorders. I consistently attend continued education and workshops on OCD, pediatric OCD, ERP, ACT, perfectionism, and CBT.
I prioritize continued education on diversity and cultural competency. I am committed to practicing from a place of cultural humility. I have attended trainings on racial trauma, identity intersectionality/the ADDRESSING Model, and LGTBQ+ Affirming Care.
